S/Y Ossiana is a premium blue water sailing yacht.

The Moody 62 DS, designed by Bill Dixon and epoxy/foam vacuum built by the famous Hanse group’s shipyard is the current flagship of this renown brand. This very equipped large deck saloon she offers a unique volume in her category due to her huge panoramic saloon and cockpit ensemble.
S/Y Ossiana was built in 2012 (hull no 6) and she rebuilt/upgraded by current owner (owner number two) for over €250,000.
Sailing
S/Y Ossiana is very easy to sail. Much for the self-tacking jib as well as the electric maneuvering of the sails.
With a push-button hydraulic furling rig, Selden Furl-in mast, a electric furling head stay, a electric furling inner and electric winches makes for an effortless sailing experience. The wide, unobstructed running decks allow for safe movement on deck while underway.
The impressive open spaces on deck are covered with high-quality teak, on the side decks, the cockpit floor, the bench seats and the bathing platform. The folding cockpit table with its teak tabletop is designed to match.
S/Y Ossiana finished second in the Heineken Regatta on St Maarten 2023.
Accommodation
Below deck, there is space for four double cabins and heads: the owner’s cabin in the bow, two cabins amidships and one aft cabin.
OWNER’S STATEROOM
The self-contained owner’s area beneath the foredeck will meet even the most exacting standards. The free-standing king-size island bed, en-suite designer head with separate shower cubicle and the extra-long wardrobe front leave nothing to be desired. The cabin is flooded with natural light through the continuous central ribbon window in the superstructure roof.
PORT FORWARD DOUBLE GUEST CABIN
Forward of the saloon is a guest cabin with double berths.
Access to en suite head/shower compartment forward.
STARBOARD FORWARD TWIN GUEST CABIN
Situated forward of the saloon to starboard with twin berth.
Access to en suite head/shower compartment forward.
AFT DOUBLE GUEST CABIN
Entrance behind the navigation chair.
Has its own bathroom.
S/Y Ossiana is equipped with the larger engine which is a Volvo Penta D4 of 180 hp.

S/Y Ossiana has three navigation seats. Two outside and one inside. All have a Raymarine plotter Axiom Pro 12s.
It also has control for the engine and the autopilots from all three stations. Very nice to be able to maneuver the boat from inside in bad weather.
This Moody DS 62 is equipped with a hydraulic gangway from Italy. It is controlled from a panel in the cockpit. The hydraulic pistons were renovated in 2020. Very practical when lying at the dock.
Performance cruising keel with T shape configuration with cast iron fin and lead bulb. Standard draft approx. 2.95 m. Stainless steel keel bolts trough solid laminate.
